Grant Johnson is a third-generation insurance professional and part-owner of Walock-Johnson Insurance. He began his career in 2019 as a crop adjuster with RCIS before returning home to Lisbon in 2021 to join the family agency. In 2023, Grant became a part-owner of WJI, continuing the Johnson family’s proud legacy of providing professional insurance service with a personal touch.

Grant specializes in farm, crop, and personal insurance, helping local families and producers protect what matters most. He was born and raised in Lisbon, ND, and earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Air Traffic Control and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota.

Grant is married to Alyssa Johnson, and together they have two sons, Ryker and Aiden. Outside of work, Grant enjoys rodeoing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Walt Johnson has been part of the insurance industry for 37 years, with 34 of those years at Walock-Johnson Insurance. Walt takes pride in continuing the family business and providing clients with honest, dependable, and knowledgeable service.

Walt’s favorite part of his work is helping clients with Multi-Peril Crop Insurance. He enjoys taking a complicated product and making it easy for customers to understand — ensuring they have the right coverage for their operation and peace of mind come harvest time.

A Lisbon native, Walt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Valley City State University. He is married to Missy Johnson, and together they have three sons: Garrett (wife Jen), Grant (wife Alyssa), and Gannon (wife Bridget). Walt and Missy are proud grandparents to Ryker, Aiden, and Joby.

Outside the office, Walt enjoys riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, spending time at the lake with family, and working on the farm caring for his cattle.

Missy Johnson has been part of Walock-Johnson Insurance for 30 years, serving as both Owner and Accounting Manager. She plays an integral role in the agency’s day-to-day operations and takes pride in helping maintain the friendly, reliable service that WJI is known for.

Missy’s favorite part of her job is seeing customers come through the door. Even though her desk is located in the house, she enjoys being in the main office whenever possible — especially when she can visit with clients and occasionally share her homemade baked goods.

Born and raised in Milnor, ND, Missy is married to Walt Johnson, and together they have three sons: Garrett (wife Jen), Grant (wife Alyssa), and Gannon (wife Bridget). They are also proud grandparents to Ryker, Aiden, and Joby.

Outside of work, Missy enjoys riding the Harley with Walt, baking, spending time at the lake, and getting together with family and friends. A fun fact about Missy — she’s number nine out of ten siblings!

LouAnn Waliser has been in the insurance industry for 20 years, including 12 years with Walock-Johnson Insurance. As a Customer Service Agent (CSA), LouAnn takes pride in helping clients find the right coverage to fit their needs and budget. She’s known for her friendly personality, attention to detail, and commitment to making the insurance process easy to understand.

A Lisbon native, LouAnn earned her degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS). She has been married to Jeremy Waliser for over 30 years, and together they have two children, Shelby (husband Kasey) and Rory (wife Savanah), as well as one grandson, Kooper. They also share their home with two dogs, Remi and Rocki.

When she’s not in the office, LouAnn enjoys spending time at the lake, reading, DIY projects, and being with family and friends.

Kelly Urbach joined Walock-Johnson Insurance in 2019 and has six years of experience in the insurance industry. As a Customer Service Agent (CSA), Kelly is one of the first friendly faces customers see when visiting the Lisbon office. She enjoys getting to know clients, answering questions, and helping make the insurance process smooth and straightforward.

Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). She grew up in Anselm, ND, graduated from Enderlin High School, and now lives in Lisbon with her husband, Brennan Urbach. They have two children, Brenna and Brazin, who keep them busy with school and activities.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading, fishing with her family, camping, pontooning, and racing with the family.

Courtney Jacobson joined Walock-Johnson Insurance in December 2022 as a Customer Service Agent (CSA). Before joining WJI, she spent more than a decade serving residents at the North Dakota Veterans Home as both a medical technician and activities coordinator. Originally from Montpelier, ND, Courtney now lives in Milnor with her husband, Dana, and their two teenagers, Kaiden and MacKayla. Their home is full of life with three dogs and two cats — a “happy zoo,” as she describes it. Courtney’s favorite part of her job is being part of a dedicated team and helping clients protect what matters most to them. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and the occasional karaoke night when the music is right.

Ann Clark joined Walock-Johnson Insurance in May 2025 as a Customer Service Agent (CSA). She previously worked in public schools as a paraprofessional, where she developed excellent communication skills and a caring, supportive approach that she now brings to her work with WJI clients. A Valley City, ND native, Ann graduated from Valley City High School. Her favorite part of working at WJI is meeting clients and being part of such an amazing team. Ann has two daughters, Kacey and Kodie, along with seven dogs and two cats that keep life busy and full of love. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids and animals, eating anything spicy, and relaxing with a Diet Mountain Dew. A fun fact about Ann — she loves Halloween and all things paranormal!
